Dr. William Keyes graduated from Ohio State University with his Doctor of Optometry, where he participated in the Student Volunteer Optometric Service for Humanity (SVOSH) program. In 2021, Dr. Keyes served as the President of the Maine Optometric Association.

As an optometrist, Dr. Keyes has a special interest in comprehensive eye care, particularly in the detection and management of ocular diseases, including diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and ocular surface disease. He also enjoys providing education for patients about advances in lens technology and helping them select lens designs that meet their visual needs, lifestyle, and long-term eye health goals.

Dr. Keyes brings compassion and a detail-oriented perspective to every appointment. He enjoys helping patients improve their vision and overall quality of life. He values the genuine relationships he builds with his patients and takes pride in making all his patients feel heard and respected. He finds this the most rewarding part of his job, and he always takes time to answer questions, address concerns, and help patients feel informed and comfortable with their care.

When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Keyes likes to go skiing, hike with his dog, Trixie, and travel with friends and family. He appreciates opportunities to explore the outdoors, experience new places, and spend time with the people who matter most to him.

Dr. Linda Cameron is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist who has proudly served the communities of Western Maine for nearly three decades. Known for her warm, approachable manner and commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Cameron enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and their families, often caring for multiple generations.

A graduate of Rumford High School, Bowdoin College, and the New England College of Optometry, she returned home to Maine to provide high-quality eye care to the community that helped shape her. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine concern for the well-being of her patients. She has previously served as the President of the Maine Optometric Association and the President of the Maine State Board of Optometry. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Cameron believes in combining clinical excellence with kindness and personalized care. She is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy vision and enjoys being an active part of the communities she serves.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Camerson enjoys traveling with family, especially on international cruises and exploring national parks. Some of her recent travels include New Zealand, Scotland, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

Dr. Sarah Ellis completed her Bachelor of Science at Saint Joseph College of Maine and her Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry. She interned at the Togus VA Medical Center and the South Boston Community Health Center during her studies. Additionally, Dr. Ellis served on a Volunteer Optometric Service for Humanity (VOSH) trip to Bogotá, Colombia. Today, Dr. Ellis is a member of both the Maine Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

As an optometrist, Dr. Ellis has a particular interest in primary eye care, the management and treatment of ocular diseases, and foreign body removal. Her outgoing and friendly demeanor helps put patients of all ages at ease. No matter which aspect of optometry she is practicing, Dr. Ellis finds getting to know her patients and educating them in a clear and precise manner to achieve their vision goals and needs to be the most fulfilling part of her job. 

When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Ellis enjoys skiing, coaching, watching her children’s sports, and traveling with her family.

Kathy serves as our office manager and brings a wealth of specialized knowledge to the practice as a Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPOT). She has been a dedicated cornerstone of our team for 25 years, serving in a variety of roles before stepping into her current leadership position in 2025.

Known for being funny, approachable, kind, and deeply understanding, Kathy excels at guiding daily operations while making everyone feel supported. What she finds most fulfilling about her job is getting people genuinely excited about optometry. Her passion for eye care is contagious, and she loves sharing that enthusiasm with patients and coworkers alike to help them see the industry in a whole new light.

Outside of work, Kathy treasures spending quality time with her family. She also has a wonderful creative streak and enjoys spending her spare time refinishing furniture, giving a beautiful second life to vintage and worn-down pieces.

Amanda serves as our office manager at the Bethel office, bringing a welcoming and outgoing energy to the practice. She stepped into the eye care industry in 2024, quickly becoming an essential part of the team by pairing her vibrant personality with a dedication to keeping the office running beautifully.

In her daily role, Amanda manages operations while helping every patient feel right at home from the moment they walk through the door. The most fulfilling part of her job is witnessing the pure joy on patients’ faces when they try on their new glasses and experience clear vision. She loves knowing that the care provided here makes a genuine, meaningful difference in people’s everyday lives.

Outside of work, Amanda loves the great outdoors and is often found hiking, fishing, and camping. More than anything, she cherishes spending quality time with her loved ones, making memories with her family, kids, and grandkids.

Tammy serves as our billing specialist, bringing a wealth of invaluable experience to our financial operations. While she joined our practice in 2016, she has been a dedicated professional in eye care for 24 years. Her deep, long-standing understanding of the field makes sure our behind-the-scenes administrative operations are handled with the highest level of care and precision.

Tammy navigates billing and insurance processes, making her an essential asset to both our team and our patients. Known for being naturally pleasant and exceptionally easy-going, she brings a warm, steady presence to the office. Even though her work focuses on administration, what she finds most fulfilling about her job is knowing that her efforts directly support the practice’s ultimate mission: helping patients see more clearly and maintaining a seamless care journey from start to finish.

In her free time, Tammy loves to connect with nature and unwind through her favorite outdoor hobbies, which include gardening and camping. Above all, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Tammy serves as a licensed optician, bringing a high level of technical expertise to our practice since joining the team in 2024. She holds an American Board of Opticianry Certification (ABOC) and is a New York State Licensed Ophthalmic Dispenser. These rigorous credentials reflect her deep mastery of the precise physics and craftsmanship required to accurately fit, dispense, and customize the perfect eyewear for every patient’s unique needs.

With an incredible 28 years of experience in the eye care industry, Tammy possesses a wealth of hands-on knowledge to provide our patients with top-tier care. Over nearly three decades, she has successfully navigated the evolving technology and advancements in vision correction, making her a trusted expert in her field. Her extensive background and dedication to optical precision make her an invaluable asset to our team.

Blanche serves as an optician, bringing an unparalleled depth of expertise to our practice with an incredible 48 years of experience in eye care. Over nearly five decades, she has dedicated her career to mastering the art and science of dispensing eyewear, making her a deeply knowledgeable and trusted cornerstone of the optical field.

In her daily role, Blanche helps patients navigate their lens and frame options with absolute precision and confidence. When asked what she finds most fulfilling about her job, her answer is simply everything. From solving complex vision needs to seeing the pure satisfaction of a patient who can see perfectly, she truly loves every single aspect of her long-standing career.

Outside of the office, Blanche loves spending quality time with her family and creating lasting memories together. She is also highly creative and enjoys dedicating her spare time to working on various crafts.

Jessica serves as an optician, bringing a rich and diverse background in healthcare and personal care to Mountain View EyeCare since joining us in early 2026. While she is new to the optical field, she has a wealth of experience working with people of all ages in medical and caregiving contexts. Her impressive array of credentials includes a certification from an Early Childhood Development CNA course, a license as a Nail Technician, and a certification as a Residential Medication Aide (CRMA), all of which reflect her lifelong commitment to helping others.

In her role as an optician, Jessica seamlessly connects her medical background with her natural personality traits, as she is incredibly caring, understanding, helpful, and an excellent communicator with a wonderful sense of humor. What she finds most fulfilling about her work is the immediate, positive impact she can make on a person’s day. She loves helping patients and bringing a smile to their faces by providing them with the gift of clear, crisp vision.

Outside of the office, Jessica loves filling her free time with family gatherings and trips to the coast. She is always excited to try out new restaurants and deeply treasures every moment spent with her loved ones, especially her husband and her fur babies.

Joey serves as an optician and optometric technician, bringing a happy and positive energy to our practice. She has been working in the eye care industry for two years, during which she has quickly developed a well-rounded skill set to support our patients through multiple stages of their visits.

In her dual role, Joey assists with everything from clinical pre-testing to helping patients select the perfect frames. What she finds most fulfilling about her job is seeing patients genuinely happy with their vision, whether they are trying on a brand-new pair of custom glasses or clearing up their sight with fresh contact lenses. Knowing that she played a part in helping someone see the world more clearly is the absolute best part of her day.

Outside of the office, Joey loves spending her free time enjoying the outdoors.

Brooke serves as an optometric technician, bringing a dedicated, hardworking, and friendly presence to Mountain View EyeCare since joining the team in September 2022. She boasts an impressive and highly accomplished educational background in the health field. She earned a Health Sciences Certificate from Kennebec Community College, followed by an Associate of Science in General Studies with a Health Science focus from Central Maine Community College—achieving both Dean’s list and President’s Honors along the way. 

Currently, she is furthering her education at the University of New England, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, where she has already maintained her spot on the Dean’s list and received a Merit Scholarship.

Brooke channels her naturally caring personality into providing exceptional patient care. What she finds most fulfilling about her job is knowing that her work directly helps people and makes them feel deeply cared for. She is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to educate patients, make them feel truly heard, and ease any anxiety they might have during their visit. For her, being part of a process that improves someone’s health in ways they can immediately see and feel is profoundly rewarding, and she especially loves building genuine, lasting connections with returning patients.

Outside of the office, Brooke loves spending quality time with her family, particularly her mom and three sisters. She has a wide variety of creative and fulfilling hobbies, which include reading, diving into photography and videography, and channeling her passion for music by playing both the piano and the drums.

Kim serves as an optometric technician, bringing a fun, bubbly, and outgoing energy to our practice. She stepped into the eye care industry in early 2025, quickly becoming a wonderful asset to our team by pairing her enthusiasm for patient care with a natural ability to connect with others.

As an optometric technician, Kim helps guide patients through their pre-testing and clinical assessments, always looking for a chance to make people laugh and feel completely at ease. The most fulfilling part of her job is the meaningful, personal interactions she shares with everyone who walks through our doors. She truly loves helping patients navigate their eye care journey and creating a positive, bright experience from start to finish.

In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, snorkeling, and kayaking, making the most of every opportunity to explore the great outdoors.

Mandy serves as an optometric technician, bringing a strong foundation in patient care to our team since joining us in 2025. She holds a certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the Region 9 School of Applied Technology, reflecting her deep-rooted passion for healthcare and her commitment to supporting the well-being of others.

In her daily role, Mandy shines as a compassionate, patient, and dedicated team player who easily puts patients at ease during their clinical testing. She finds her work incredibly meaningful because sight is such an essential sense that we rely on every single day. For her, the most rewarding part of her job is being able to directly help maintain or improve a patient’s vision.

Outside of work, Mandy loves focusing her energy on her family. She treasures her free time most when she is at home, playing and making sweet memories with her son and her dog.

Linda serves as a Certified Paraoptometric, bringing a high standard of clinical skill and specialized training to our team. She earned her professional Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) credential through the American Optometric Association, demonstrating her dedication to excellence in eye care. She first stepped into the eye care industry in 2022, quickly developing a strong foundation of knowledge to best support our patients and doctors.

At Mountain View EyeCare, Linda pairs her clinical expertise with a warm, friendly personality that immediately puts patients at ease. What she finds most fulfilling about her job is the unique opportunity to build lasting relationships with the community. She truly loves getting to know patients as they return to the practice year after year, becoming a familiar, trusted face in their annual health journeys.

In her spare time, Linda can often be found tending to her beautiful garden, heading out to the water for some fly fishing, or curling up at home to unwind with a great book.

Cassie serves as a Certified Paraoptometric, bringing a well-rounded and robust background in healthcare services to our practice since 2018. She holds an Associate degree in Medical Coding & Electronic Health Records from Central Maine Community College. To further her clinical expertise, she also earned her professional credential as a Certified Paraoptometric (CPO).

Cassie is known for being exceptionally reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking, always anchoring the team with her strong work ethic and positive attitude. She is grateful for the opportunity to make a direct impact on the community by helping every patient feel completely comfortable and genuinely cared for during their visit. She absolutely loves knowing that the work she does every day helps people see better and live better lives.

Outside of the office, Cassie loves spending time with her fiancé and their four-year-old son. When they aren’t relaxing at home, they love to embrace their shared passion for the outdoors by fishing on their bass boat.

Josie serves as the welcoming voice and face of our front desk, bringing a bright, calm energy to our practice. As a new member of our team, she is excited to dive into this new field, master the ins and outs of patient coordination, and build strong roots within our office community.

Known for being gentle, soft-spoken, and kind, Josie excels at making patients feel comfortable and valued the moment they step through the door. She thrives on gaining the knowledge needed to better assist those around her, always looking for ways to step up for her patients and support her team to lighten their load.

Outside of work, Josie channels her imaginative spirit into a wide variety of hands-on creative projects. She loves painting and resin art in particular. When she isn’t in her creative element, bringing a new project to life, she loves spending her free time outside.

Megan serves as a receptionist, bringing a practical, resilient, and grounded presence to Mountain View EyeCare since joining the team in 2025. As one of the first faces to welcome patients, she plays a vital role in keeping our front desk organized, efficient, and running smoothly.

In her daily role, Megan makes the check-in process a breeze, often bringing a wonderful sense of humor to her conversations to brighten everyone’s day. What she finds most fulfilling about her job is the meaningful relationships she has gained since starting at the practice. She truly loves the sense of community her role brings, enjoying the opportunity to connect deeply with returning patients and bond with her fellow teammates.

Outside of the clinic, Megan is a hands-on individual who loves rolling up her sleeves to work on her truck. When she isn’t tinkering with her vehicle, she enjoys relaxing and hanging out with her beloved animals, as well as making memories and spending quality time with her boyfriend and family.

Ceana serves as a receptionist at Mountain View EyeCare, bringing an organized and dedicated foundation to our front desk team since joining the practice in 2025. She holds an Associate degree in Business Administration and Management from Central Maine Community College, where she proudly earned both President’s Honors and Dean’s list recognition. Demonstrating a wonderful drive for continuous growth, she is currently continuing her education to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Husson University.

Ceana shines as a creative, social, and down-to-earth individual who brings a genuine passion to every interaction. As the first point of contact for our patients, she excels at creating an inviting and warm environment. What she finds most fulfilling about her job is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a patient’s day, taking great pride in making everyone who walks through our doors feel truly seen, heard, and deeply cared for.

When she’s not at the clinic, Ceana keeps her mind and creativity thriving through a fascinating array of hobbies. She loves spending her free time studying literature and history, and she regularly dives into creative pursuits such as writing, painting, and even playing the harmonica. A true enthusiast of all seasons, she stays active by hitting the slopes for alpine skiing in the winter, heading to the water for waterskiing in the summer, and exploring the beauty of nature year-round.
